The lowest maintenance precious metal. Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wear. Solid gold won't tarnish, discolour, or oxidise. It only becomes more beautiful over time.
Sterling silver
Store in a cool, dry place, ideally in the pouch provided. Polish with a cloth to maintain brightness. Some natural patina may develop; embrace it or polish it away.
Gold vermeil
Remove before swimming, exercising, or applying perfume. Store separately to prevent scratching. With gentle care, the 18k gold layer will maintain its warmth for years.
Diamonds & gemstones
Clean with warm soapy water and a soft brush. Lab-grown diamonds are the hardest material on earth. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners for emeralds as they're more delicate.
Pearls
Last on, first off. Apply perfume and lotions before wearing. Wipe gently with a soft cloth after each wear. Store separately; pearls are softer than other stones.
All pieces
Remove before showering, swimming, or heavy exercise. Store each piece separately. Every Akind purchase includes a two-year warranty.
